Chartered accountant and business adviser Price Bailey has been awarded the title Leading Advisor Practice in the prestigious Schroders UK Platform Awards. It the second time in three years that the firm has won the title.

The investment industry awards are judged on evidence that a first-rate customer offering is supported by the investment platform and state of the art technology applied to processes such as research, model portfolios, benchmarking, reviewing, re-balancing and reporting.

The judges score each entry on total customer cost, asset management, platform and adviser. They also examine evidence that the business is successful both in terms of overall turnover and margin.

Presenting the awards the judges, who are chosen largely from the leading independent consultancies in the UK, commented: “Price Bailey runs a sophisticated discretionary proposition plus a tax planning service at really low cost. If you have a great proposition and great service, you will have a great business. The winner certainly has all of that.”

James King, Partner and Head of Private Client at Price Bailey commented: “To win this award once is great, but to win it twice is three years is fantastic news and is a reflection of the team’s hard work and the excellent investment management service we deliver to our clients.”

The award comes just a week after the firm learned that it had been shortlisted in four categories in the British Accountancy Awards, and had risen two places higher in the accountancy industry top fifty rankings.
