IAPA announces a new Chief Executive Officer

IAPA, a global association of independent accountancy/business/legal advisory firms, today announces the appointment of H. Ozgur Demirdoven as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately. 

Ozgur is Managing Partner of IAPA member firm MED YMM ve Bagimsiz Denetim A.S., Istanbul, Turkey that has been a member of IAPA for over 5 years.  A highly active member of IAPA since his firm’s appointment, Ozgur was appointed to the IAPA EMEA Board in May 2015 and elected as IAPA EMEA Chairman in March 2017.

During the recent IAPA EMEA AGM held in Oslo, Norway, 26 May 2018, Ozgur resigned as IAPA EMEA Chairman to fulfil his duties as the new IAPA CEO. He replaces Martin Clapson who has been acting IAPA CEO for 18 months.

As CEO, Ozgur will dedicate himself to realising IAPA’s growth strategy and visiting existing, new and potential member firms globally.  The CEO is supported by the IAPA International Board and the IAPA administrative Centre, based in the UK.
